The role and function of cultural health stationsCultural health stations are an important resource for indigenous communities. The course introduces how to provide preventive care, health promotion and primary care services through these stations, while protecting traditional medical wisdom. Health stations are not only places of medical support, but also symbols of community cohesion, helping people to maintain their health in a way that is culturally appropriate for each ethnic group and promoting the intergenerational transfer of knowledge.Integrating long-term care and cultural sensitivityThe course focuses on how to organically integrate long-term care (LTC) with the living culture of indigenous peoples to ensure that the dignity and needs of the elderly are valued in care. Participants will learn how to design culturally sensitive care plans, including communicating in the native language, understanding the importance of traditional ceremonies, and respecting the spiritual beliefs of the community during the medical process.Course Vision and Learner CompetenciesUpon completion of the course, learners will be able to promote long-term care services in a culturally sensitive manner, and understand how to integrate community resources through health stations to improve the health standards of indigenous peoples. This course is dedicated to cultivating a culturally-respectful and effective care model among participants, promoting the collaborative development of health stations, traditional wisdom, and the modern medical system, and ensuring the sustainable development of long-term care services for the benefit of the elderly and the community as a whole.
